ERIKA WOLK 1922 - 2017 After a short illness and surrounded by her family, Erika Wolk, died on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Victoria Hospital. Erika was born in Germany, immigrated to Canada with her now deceased husband, Rudy. An amazing woman who lived a rich and happy life with her three children, "Oma" to six grandchildren and "Mimi" to 13 great- grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff on the 4 North wing of Victoria Hospital. Cremation has taken place and at her wish there will be no funeral service. Our condolences to you Karen, Monica and your brother, along with your families, on the passing of your mother. I was thinking of her just the other day and wondering how you were all doing. We were south for February & March so missed the announcement. Often drive by the house on Ravelstone and it seems like just yesterday when we were all together in the fledgling 'city' of Transcona.
