My most sincere condolences to the Sterzer's. I have never met a more open and welcoming family. I have good memories from those days back in the seventies. May God comfort you. - Posted by: Erich Dyck (Friend of family) on: Mar 25, 2017

Mom met Marg, Larry and Norm 38 years ago while hanging out at Mcphersons stables. What wonderful people they all were. Mom was blessed to hold onto a meaningful relationship with Marg, Larry, Norm and their extended families. The relationship mom had built over many years, with the entire Sterzer clan, meant enough to her for her to pass the relationship down onto her kids and family. From introducing the Sterzer family to the Kehler's, we as a family learnt many life lessons, recieved many wise pieces of advice and a lifetime of love, respect and fun filled stories to pass on. Memories, and fond moments have come from that first meeting. From getting shit for not doing things on time at the tripple s fair and rodeo, to sharing a rum and coke after a long hard day of pre rodeo preperations, to helping out with Eddie and Cheryl's wedding, to driving Karen to the hospital to birth yet another perfect Sterzer baby, to recieving flowers at our yearly gathering and enjoying watching the next few generations flying down our staircase or making a human pyramid in the living room. No matter what the situation you could always count on Marg for a warm smile and a gentle hug. How blessed is my family to have met Marg, Larry and their wonderful children, along with their beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everybody should be ever so lucky to have met her and enjoyed her in their life. We are truly blessed to have known Marg and spent so many precious moments with her. The last time we spent time with Marg was with her and Larry at their new home after meeting baby Raven. We can't tell you how lucky we feel to have made the choice to stop in that day and visit. Marg was at her best enjoying the dainties and food we brought from the baby shower (more so the dainties). Larry was not at his best as he was suffering from a cold and was in bed. Let our last memory of Marg be the big smile on her face and the warm hug she gave as we left not knowing it would be our last time. She will forever be in our hearts, memories and we will forever cherish the time we had with her. Marg truly was the matriarch of the Sterzer clan and will be remembered so. Lovingly Hollie, Darryl, Hailey and Braiden xoxo until we meet again - Posted by: The Kehler Family (Family Friends of one of the best people in the world that we know) on: Mar 21, 2017

Margaret was a real gentlewoman, warm, witty, compassionate and hospitable. She raised a wonderful family with grace. She managed to keep the Manitoba Paint Horse Club, the Ag Society and all components of the Selkirk Fair and Rodeo on track and working together with minimum strife for many years. She and Larry were the backbone of their church. To say Margaret will be missed by many is a huge understatement. Our loss is Heaven's gain. - Posted by: Marie Morrison (Family friend) on: Mar 21, 2017
