May 12, 1934 - March 19, 2017 While surrounded by his family and loved ones, on March 19, 2017 at Parkview Place Care Home, Russell passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years old, formerly of Scanterbury, MB. Russell will be lovingly remembered by Eunice and their children, Bernice (Larry), Wayne, Yvonne, Merv (La-la), Gwen (Mike), Russell Jr., Wally, Laura (Mike), and Mary (Tom), along with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Mary, and six siblings. Special thanks to the staff at Parkview Place Care Home for the loving care given to our dad. A wake will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 starting at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. both at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Hall in Scanterbury, MB with Pastor Tina Laveque officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Johnston, Trent Galvin, Cory Pangman, Justin Brey, Gregory Galvin and Orton Desjarlais. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trevor Sutherland, Darrell Sinclair and Curt Desjarlais.
