Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIUSEPPE PALUMBO It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and husband, Giuseppe Palumbo. Giuseppe passed away peacefully on March 18, 2017, the day of his 74th birthday, after a lengthy illness. Giuseppe leaves behind his devoted wife of 47 years, Carmela; his two sons, Mauro and Bruno (Kendra); brothers, Emilio, Loreto and Luigi; and sisters, Antonietta and Elisa. He was predeceased by his brother Oreste and sister Angelina. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Avenue, with visitation one hour prior. Reception will follow at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the many volunteers, nurses and doctors who cared for Giuseppe during his illness. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Wheels of Hope Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7. We were deeply saddened to hear the news of Guiseppe's passing and wish to convey our condolences to our long-time colleague and friend, Mauro, his mom, Carmela, brother Bruno (Kendra) and to all of the Palumbo family who are mourning their loss.
