COLLEEN ELLEN RINDALL (RHOADES) December 29, 1940 - March 19, 2017 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, sister, gramma, ggma, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, Colleen Ellen Rindall. Colleen was married to Joe Rindall for 58 years. They have four children, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Colleen had such a love for family, fun, travel, and cultivating new and old friendships. Everywhere she went she touched people's hearts with her warm hugs, desire for a good time and loving disposition. Colleen loved a good time, a rum and coke, happy hour, great music, pass the ace and crib with family, (being teased by family), texting with emojis, late night facebook likes. We would like to invite family and friends to join us in a celebration of her life on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lac du Bonnet Community Centre, 25 McArthur Avenue, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Colleen was blessed to be cared for by the fabulous, loving staff and amazing Dr. Bruneua of Pinawa Hospital, in addition to Dr. Henry of Parkview Medical Centre. In loving memory of Colleen the family would like to purchase an item in need for the Pinawa Hospital. We ask that you please make a donation to the Pinawa District Hospital, Box 220, Pinawa, MB R0E 1L0 on behalf of Colleen Rindall. A beautiful lady with a beautiful soul that has touched the hearts of many across the globe. "Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives you a fairy tale. Life is not forever, but LOVE IS". For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. CHAPEL LAWN www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715.

  • Over the last many years I spent many Easters, Christmases and even a cruise with Colleen and Joe. Colleen was always surrounded by her large family and in many ways was the glue that held them all together. She cheered on Grand children and Great Grandchildren in cheer leading, baseball, hockey, if a grandchild was involved so was Colleen. To say she will be missed is a huge understatement. How fortunate her family was to have had her in their lives. I think to try to describe Colleen is just to say, she was a good & kind person who has moved on to be a good and kind Angel. - Posted by: Carolyn Palmer (Mother to Wes Palmer, Colleen's son-in-law) on: Mar 24, 2017

  • Joe and the family. Our deepest condolences to you. We met through friends several years ago through a fun curling league. Although we have not seen you in sometime we quite often thought of friends we met there. A very kind, compassionate couple and Colleen always had some very kind and inspirational words to me as I was struggling to adjust to living in a small town community. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Russell and Linda Smith (Friends from Lac du Bonnet) on: Mar 24, 2017

  • I still remember the first time I met Colleen 17 years ago, it was a rainy day at her daughter and Son in law Joanna & Wes Palmer's work where she was visiting. I am not kind of person who is easily close to people, but with first sight I was drawn into Colleen's charming smile and warm hug that made me feel like I am her many years friend already. Her loveliness and jovial approach made me feel the world is full of sunshine despite the cold rain outside! Since then I met her at different occasions, every single time I enjoyed talking with her, she was always a good listener and interested in my talking, she also shared her point of views on different topics... She is such a good friend and role model to people around her. Life is not forever, but LOVE IS! - Posted by: June Wu (Friend) on: Mar 23, 2017

  • Joe and Family. Words could never express our deepest condolences for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that she is not suffering any longer. Time in itself is a great healer as both of us can testify. Boyd and Val Kramble - Posted by: Boyd Kramble (Friends ) on: Mar 23, 2017
