NORMA EVELYN ARBEAU Norma Evelyn Arbeau, 93, peacefully left us on March 20, 2017 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, Weston and Alice Anderson; her brother Donald, brother-in-law Jack, and her beloved daughter Dawn Arbeau. She is survived by her husband Robert; son Clark; grandsons, Brendin (Kristy) and Devon; sister Tillie; great-granddaughter Arabella; niece Jill (Lorne) and great-nephews, Justin, Jonathan (Michelle) and family. Norma was born May 28, 1923 in Plunkett, SK. Norma was raised on a farm in the Brithdir district in Saskatchewan, where she attended Pilot Grove School. She had a great love for track in her younger days. Bob and Norma married in 1952 and spent many years in different parts of Saskatchewan, Manitoba and lived in Germany for a year while Bob served as Sergeant Major in the military. They finally settled in Winnipeg, where they raised their two children in the St. James area. Norma was the kindest, gentlest soul with a love for animals, art, sewing and gardening. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family. She will be missed deeply by many. A service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden West Lodge in Winnipeg for their never-ending love and care that they gave Norma during the time she was there, up until her passing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane society.
