Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINE SCHNITZER On March 21, 2017 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Christine passed away suddenly at the age of 79 years. Christine is survived by her son Tom, friend John Melnie and his family. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, one brother, and a daughter-in-law. Christine was born in East Germany, June 23, 1937. In 1955, Christine escaped to West Germany where she eventually immigrated to Canada in 1966 to marry. Christine loved traveling, curling, square dancing, old time dancing and swimming. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 31, at 10:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall.
