Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL DERRAUGH February 23, 1927-March 16, 2017 It is with great sorrow to announce the sudden passing of Carol Derraugh at the age of 90 years. Carol will be sadly missed by her son Verne and her two grandsons Troy and Jayse, who she resided with for the last seven months of her life. She is also survived by four sisters Bernice Forrest, Lee Cashman, Mary Fill and Roz Rougeau. She was predeceased by her son Bruce and ex husband Vernon Derraugh, brothers Stanley, Bert, Paul, Anton and Joseph; sisters Agnes Rychliski and Katherine Komadowski. Carol was a selfless soul. She loved her family and always put them first. She always helped and was there for many people throughout her years and will be remembered with fondness and love. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later time. You will be missed so much, Mom and Grandma. Verne, Troy and Jayse, so sorry to hear about Aunty Carol's passing. Like the rest of the Shumilak clan, she lead a interesting life during a interesting time. During this she found time to raise a couple of good people, you and your brother are examples of this. My deepest condolences to the whole family. Carol was the sweetest and most gentle person one could have known. She rode with me on a weekly basis to the Adult Day Program at Kin Place in Oakbank.
