Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA YAEGER 1923 - 2017 Surrounded by the love of her family, at Riverview, Edna took her last breath on March 25, 2017. Edna was born October 18, 1923 in Winnipeg, MB, the eldest of seven to Gustav and Emma Harwart (Kiesman). She grew up on a homestead farm near Moosehorn, MB. In her 20s, she left the farm for Winnipeg. In July 1950, she married Albert and raised three children, Beverly (Ron), Linda (Hal) and Dennis (Lasha). She worked full time at Ray O Vac while caring for her family. She was proud of her nine grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, and Corey, Lisa and Kyla, Breanna, Eric, Emily and Lars. She will also be missed by her sisters, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was a proud member of the Eastern Star. In her golden years, she spent her winters in Arizona and summers in Pinawa with her many friends. Following a stroke in 2007, her final years were spent at Riverview. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Viewing will be held at 1:30 p.m. with reception to follow the service. The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Riverview who helped us with her journey. "Farewell mom. My sympathies to the Family. I new Edna and Albert. They use to winter in Arizona with my parents Eric and Lucille who have passed on as well. Albert bought his insurance from my father and then myself. I had the opportunity to visit with Edna when I would bring my mother over to the house.
