ALLEN SCHNEIDER May, 1934 - March, 2017 Allen Schneider of the Ile Des Chenes area passed away March 25, 2017 at Repo Jolys in St. Pierre Jolys, MB, at the age of 82. Allen was predeceased by his wife Patricia. Allen is survived by his daughter Lisa and husband Doug. A memorial service will be held April 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Niverville United Church, 55 - 1st Street North. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Pierre Health Centre for the wonderful care they gave Allen. Donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in his name. I am so sorry to hear of Allan's passing. I will really miss his annual phone call to the old timer (my birthday being on May 28). I have many memories of our fishing adventures to Keewatin and the Whiteshell. In our earlier days we would hitchhike to Lockport and sleep over night under the stairs (now removed) right against the river. I remember the time the RCMP came to check up on us in the middle of the night to see how many fish we had caught, we only pulled our stringer up half way and they were satisfied only seeing the first 7 or 8 when we probably had twice that many. There were also the many nights of playing Rumoli for pennies.. Al always won, just as he always caught the most fish. Rest in peace Al. - Posted by: George A. Schwartz (friend) on: Apr 01, 2017
