A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB with Marianne Propp officiating. Full obituary to follow. Hello Danny So sorry to hear you had to leave us! You know I can still remember like it was yesterday - picking corn for Chorney's farm, or going to the locks at Lockport and wading chest high in the river fishing. These are but a few of the memories I will always remember and treasure! Although I never knew you later on in life, once in a while I would catch a glimpse of you and you would always have a smile or crack a joke just like the way you always did. You know they say God takes the good ones early to be by his side but I think he takes them early to remind us of how much better we can all be! My deepest sympathy goes out to all of those who knew, loved, respected Dan. I had the privilege to work with Dan at Safeway in Selkirk. He always had something to say, whether it was talking about the news, the Bombers, the Jets or his family. I shall miss his laugh and quick wit. May flights of angels carry you to your rest.
