Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGINA ANN SOROKOWSKI March 10, 1950 - April 3, 2017 In the early morning of Monday, April 3, 2017 our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Georgina Ann Sorokowski (Philipchuk) left this world for a better place. She will be forever loved and missed by husband of 48 years, Albert; son Brent (Lori), grandchildren Kody, Lexy and Matthew; daughter Tammie (Marc), grandchildren Sara, Jennifer, Mercedes and great-grandson Jonathan Gibson. She also leaved behind her brother Kenny (Deborah); sisters, Arlene and Val (Tommy) as well as many in-laws, nephews and nieces and extended family and friends. Georgina was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Sophie Philipchuk; in-laws William and Wanda Sorokowski and niece Joanna Philipchuk. A Parastas funeral service will be held on April 8, 2017 at Fraserwood Hall at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Father Chuckry officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or charity of choice.
