  • Guy was a great customer and friend over the years. He would come into VINYL DUNGEON RECORDS to buy vinyl. But over the years we became friends and talked quite a bit. He had told me he was sick with ALS but he still had a great sense of humor. That was about a year ago. He told me he got married on BOB FM He got quite a kick about that He was a cool guy and a decent man I think he is on the Stairway to Heaven now. • I worked with Guy and will miss his jokes and laugh at work. Where we work is often gloomy and often a "glass half full" kinda place. Guy was someone who spread laughter in a tough place. Many times he's had me laughing at work. Thank you & we miss u Guy - Posted by: Dave Tucker (Co-Worker) on: Apr 07, 2017

  • There are way too many funny stories to tell about a man who had such a positive way of life, so I'll just offer my sincerest condolences to Arla and all of Guys family and friends. Guy was truly one of the finest people that I have ever met. He was positive, funny, caring, sharing and loving. A bad day to Guy just meant you could hear more of his sense of humour and have a few more laughs. Even when this wretched disease took ahold of him, Guy still remained funny, positive and strong. He was an inspiration to us all. I haven't met many heroes in my lifetime but I'm proud to say Guy Schaan was a hero and that he was my friend. We are all going to miss you my friend. May you forever rest in peace. Oh, and one last thing....F U A.L.S. - Posted by: Brian Tyefisher (Friend) on: Apr 07, 2017
