CHARLES RUSSELL TENNANT Peacefully at the Victoria Hospital, it is with sadness we announce the passing of our dad on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the age of 95. Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife Kay who passed on March 22, 2016. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his children Barrie (Jan), Dawn (Brian) and grandchildren Jenna (Chris), Christian and Brendan. Dad always had a story to tell, interjected with lots of laughter! He loved nature and his cottage which was home to him. Dad was the original dog whisperer! He was an amazing grandpa and loved his grandchildren with his whole heart. Our dad was a member of the Royal Order of Scotland, the Grand Lodge of Manitoba, Past Master of Ancient Landmark Lodge No. 3 and a 33rd degree member of Scottish Rite. He has received numerous accolades for his dedicated service for which he was very proud of. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from the Brookside Cemetery). The family would like to give a special thank you to dad's guardian angel Joanne Lysyk, The Rosewood and the Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. • My condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all of you in this difficult time. I had just thought about Russ and Kay the other day with a smile. They always brought laughter and smiles to the staff at Pembina Physiotherapy. They were "young" for their age and were a favourite to all us. They brought a special energy to you and the world. For this reason it will be a sad time for you. Share the wonderful memories and celebrate all the legacies that your parents and grandparents left. With tears in my eyes, for your loss, I send some hugs, Murray MacHutchon - Posted by: Murray MacHutchon (Russ and Kay's Physiotherapist) on: Apr 08, 2017
