Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAN ELIZABETH SAEDAL Joan Saedal passed away at West Park Manor on April 4, 2017. Mom was born on January 8, 1930 in Crawford Park to George and Elizabeth Kelly. Mom's beautiful life will forever be cherished by her daughters Valerie (John), Vivienne (Barry), her sons Derrick and Calvin (Wendy), grandchildren Bibiana (Paul), Scott, Katelynn, Moheeka and great-grandchildren Tiegen and Mikayla. Mom was predeceased by her husband Leonard and daughter Beverly. Mom's positive outlook to life was a blessing to anyone nearby. She had a true gift to have people want to follow her over to the sunny side of the street. Mom believed that the best and most wonderful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched but felt in the heart. Mom was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and was fabulous seamstress. Mom was predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Irene and brothers Al and Ron. Mom is survived by her sisters Lois, Doris and Shirley. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at West Park Manor for their wonderful care and support. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Mom's wishes there will be no formal funeral service. Friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, April, 11, 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue. Friends, who wish, may make a contribution to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or a charity of their choice.
