CAROL FAITH MYHAL (nee FRANKLIN) March 11, 1939 April 9, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother, on April 9, 2017 at the Stonewall Hospital. Carol was predeceased by both her parents, her five siblings and a grandson she loved with all her heart. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Henry, of 60 years; as well as her three children, Gail (Murray) of Stonewall, Darlene (Doug) of Lockport and Warren (Mita) of Victoria, BC, her six grandchildren, as well as her six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom had a kind soft heart with a zest for life and was adored by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished. We wish to especially thank the doctors and nursing staff of the Stonewall Hospital who provided exceptional care and showed immense compassion toward mom and the family. Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • "My Mum was the sweetest lady, she never hurt a soul". These words were whispered by my husband Warren Myhal and it touched me very deeply. We went to see her summer of 2015 and it was the first time I was meeting her. Warren had told me when we were getting married, that from then on his parents were my parents. From the first warm welcoming hug, I was made to feel an integral part of the family. I wish I could have spent more time with her, exchanging stories and getting cooking lessons and tips and just by being in her presence absorbing the light and grace she was synonymous with. RIP dear Mum, you will live in all our hearts forever ❤️ - Posted by: Mita Myhal (Daughter in law) on: Apr 12, 2017

  • May her soul rest in peace. Through Mita and Warren I felt a connection with Mrs. Myhal even though I never met her. God bless all. Love Sanjay - Posted by: Sanjay S. Shoney (Friend of Mita and Warren Myhal) on: Apr 12, 2017

  • I just got a call from my sister IVY saying that Carol has passed away. Our sympathy goes out to all the family. I know she will really be missed. When Carol and I were young kids we were the best of friends. We were always together. I was a bridesmaid at her wedding. When we grew up, got married and moved away we all went our separate ways and kind of lost contact. Carol was always so sweet and always would talk with a big smile on her face. That will always hold dear in my heart. Our prayers go out to the family. RIP my dear friend, Love Fran - Posted by: Fran Danko(Kancylarski) (Friend from childhood) on: Apr 11, 2017
