WILLY DYCK June 12, 1924 April 4, 2017 Willy Dyck passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the age of 92. Willy is survived by his children, Siegfried (Elenore), Marlene, Astrid, Victor, Ingrid (Brian); nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Herta; parents; a brother and sister and one great-grandchild. Willy was born in Russia and ended up in Germany as a refugee after the war. He emigrated to Paraguay, met his wife, Herta and then with their son emigrated to Canada in 1951. Several years were spent working on a farm near Rock Lake and the rest of his life was spent in Winnipeg. He worked at various positions in Redekopp Family businesses until his retirement. After the death of his wife in 2012, Dad moved into Concordia Village Assisted Living. Thank you to the staff of Concordia Village, Dr Johnson and Concordia Hospital Staff for the good care Willy received. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church on Roch Street, Winnipeg.
