I remember Carl at SAIT in Calgary. We shared an office for a short time before I returned to England. He made me very welcome and we had many laughs together. I recall the cedar strip canoe we launched on Glenmore Lake. He was a good man, very generous and helpful with a strong sense of humour. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and send you all my belated but sincerest condolences. - Posted by: David Pitt (Colleague) on: Dec 05, 2020

Jackie, you and I have never met but you did get to know my brother, Henry and his wife Caroll. I have childhood memories of Carl and Paul when they lived in Toronto. Of course we remember "Uncle Carl" and "Aunt Mary". My Great-Aunt was Carl's (step) Grandmother. Carl's accomplishments speak well of him. Obviously family life was important to him also. I hope you all had a wonderful life with him and may the memories of happy times be of comfort to you all always. Ron Beben (Toronto) - Posted by: Ron Beben ("Connection") on: Jun 28, 2017

Rose and I are very sorry to learn of Carl's passing. He will be lovingly remembered by our group at the Wellness. We have had many hours of coffee klatsch discussions post-workout! Pat & I were very sorry Jackie to hear about Carl's passing. I always enjoyed his sense of humour and was impressed with his knowledge and ability to present and deliver Information concepts. In my opinion he was the best professional PR manager Ducks ever had. I enjoyed working with him both when he worked for DUCKs and as a consultant to us with Bruce Smith. He even invited me to join him on a sail at Silver Harbour; and of couse I will long remember our sailing trip to The British Virgin Islands. We don't return to MB until May so will miss the Memorial. Our thoughts will be with you and the Family; Pat & Stew - Posted by: Stew & Pat Morrison (collegue) on: Apr 18, 2017

Jackie dear, my heartfelt sympathy and prayers continue for you and the family. It was so nice to have you as neighbours; to see you so often, both in front and behind the house, attending to yard work, or digging out of a snowbank in the back lane with the rest of us. My last visit to your new home before I left for the island is etched in my mind and will always be a pleasant memory. - Posted by: Leslie Baronas (Friend and neighbour) on: Apr 18, 2017
