SIMONE REGIS 1918 - 2017 Peacefully on Tuesday March 7, 2017, at Holy Family Nursing Home, Simone Regis passed away at the age of 98. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday April 29, 2017, at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. We're so happy we stopped in to visit Simone last summer when we were passing through Winnipeg. Although she was "deaf as a post", she was "sharp as a tack" and still had that twinkle in her eyes. Her memory and sense of humor was unbelievable. She was so concerned that she didn't have a chance to have her hair done before our surprise visit. Some things never change! I am Alphonse's oldest daughter. I did not see a lot of Auntie Simone growing up but I remember her as clear as day. She was always smiling and telling stories in that cute French accent of hers.
