FLORENCE E. DAVIES (nee WARD) It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Florence on April 17, 2017, at the age of 84. Florence will be lovingly remembered for her wonderful laugh and zest for life. Leaving to mourn Florence are three sons and one daughter, Ralph (Wendy), Sydney (Bonnie), Trevor (Kathy), and Jennifer (Andy); four grandsons; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Florence was predeceased by her mother and father, Anna and Allan Ward; and her seven siblings. Born on February 11, 1933, in Chambly, Quebec, Florence lived on the family farm until her marriage in 1952. Florence and her husband Lloyd moved frequently due to postings in Canada and Europe, returning to Winnipeg in 1971. Most recently Florence lived in Portage la Prairie in the Queen's Court enjoying her friends. At Florence's request no service is forthcoming. The family thanks the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for their kind care and a special thank you to Dr. Garnet.
