Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEITH FREDERICK HUDSON April 1, 1950 - April 18, 2017 On Tuesday, April 18, 2017 Keith Hudson found peace at the age of 67 years. Keith was a lover of nature and in so many ways, had the traits and characteristics of a bear. On one hand, he was incredibly strong in so many ways. Strong in body, mind and will, he was opinionated and direct, did not mince words, and had an answer for everything. Like a mother bear, Keith was protective, devoted, strict, and attentive of his young. He used these qualities to provide protection and guidance to his two loving sons, Jeff (Kelly) and Steven (Elisa). Jeff and Steven are forever grateful for the strong, protective love that their father provided them during his life. Keith was blessed to have six beautiful grandchildren, Helena, Adam, Eve, Julie, Skylar and Zander. To his grandchildren, he was a teddy bear sweet, loving and gentle. There are a lot of words that could be used to describe Keith, but fundamentally he was not a complicated man. He had a strong love of a few key things family, food, and nature. Keith grew up in a loving family with his brothers, Jim (Linda), Glenn (Wendy), and Donald. He was predeceased by his father Norman and mother Mary, as well as his grandson Adam. All of the Hudson men are strong, dominant personalities, with a strong devotion to family and a special bond with one another that they carried into adulthood. Keith was blessed to meet and marry the love of his life, Ursula, later in his life. Ursula and Keith shared many common loves and interests, including a love of animals that materialized in the adoption of dog Sarah and cat Esmerelda. Ursula and Keith never had any children of their own, but formed a special bond with oldest grandchild Helena who was born early in their relationship. In many ways, Helena was the daughter they never had and the three of them shared a special connection in her early youth. Jeff, Steven and their families would like to personally thank Ursula for the support she provided to Keith during his illness. The family would also like to thank Seven Oaks Hospital for the care that was provided to Keith in his final few weeks. In compliance with Keith's wishes, no Funeral Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Keith's name to The Dream Factory, which serves to provide children with life-threatening illnesses with a memorable dream experience. Ursula So sorry for your lost. May God give you lots of strength and guidance in your grief for Kieth. I worked with you both at Safeway 594 store. Both of you were such good people and I am so happy that you two had a great life together. I have your phone number as Cam Tumber gave it to me and will give you a call sometime next week. If you see a strange number it will be me. Would love to have a chat. Please take care of yourself God's blessing to you and your family Barb Baxter - Posted by: Barbara Baxter (co worker) on: Apr 24, 2017
