FRANK DAOUST It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Frank Daoust on April 19, 2017, at the age of 61. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Linda; his daughter Nicole (Chris); brother Paul (Lorna); brother-in-law Ken (Dawn); father-in-law Peter; special friend Roland (Jen); long-time friends, Harold and Libby (Enza); his many friends in the dialysis unit, and many more relatives, friends and their families, too numerous to list. Frank's enormously big heart touched everyone who knew him. His compassion and generosity was endless. Everyone loved Frank. His laughter and joking in the dialysis unit made it more bearable for all that had to be there. With his incredible memory, he could remember the names of everyone. He often said that the people at dialysis were the nicest people he ever met. The family would like to express their heart-felt thanks to the staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital, especially the dialysis unit, for the excellent care that they provided to Frank. Our gratitude is extended to the paramedics, doctors, and nurses who did all they could for Frank in his final hours. We would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during our time of loss. Respecting Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

I have heard about Frank through Harold. Harold had told me that he always had a good time hanging with Frank. Frank had been his friend for 31 years. Recently Harold spoke of the pizza, beer and vlts they all shared on Friday evenings along with Libby. Deepest condolences to Linda and Nicole . Frank is now at peace. - Posted by: Barbara Gregory (Harold Hoshowsky's Auntie) on: Apr 24, 2017

Frank was truly one of a kind. I was lucky enough to get to know him and Linda through work. I had the pleasure of sharing a few rounds of golf and some poker nights over the years. Impossible not to be in a good mood and share in Frank's contagious laughter. My condolences to Linda, Nicole and the rest of your family in this difficult time. Frank will be missed by all! - Posted by: Curt Armstrong () on: Apr 24, 2017

Our thoughts & prayers are with Linda & Nicole and the entire family. I am a friend of the family through my brother; they were long time, childhood friends. As they were quite older than me, I heard so many stories and my fondest memory of Frank will always be his laughter and kindness, as per the obituary, this is a true story! Heaven has gained, yet another kind soul, may he rest in peace. Carmela (Colicchio) Foster & Family xo - Posted by: Carmela (Colicchio) Foster (family friend) on: Apr 22, 2017
