GEORGINA (JO) PAGE 1937 - 2017 On April 19, 2017, Georgina "Jo" Page passed away peacefully at Jocelyn House Hospice in Winnipeg in her 80th year. Jo leaves to mourn her husband Arnold; son Grant and wife Judy; daughter Janice and husband John; son Gary and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Grace and William, and her sister Lucy. Jo was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Family was very important to Jo. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her top priority. Jo was also very smart. She worked hard over the years to provide a comfortable home for her family. She was exceptionally frugal and made every penny stretch as far as it could go. She also had a great sense of humour and was not afraid to say what she was thinking, especially in later years. The family would like to thank Jo's many caregivers over the past years, including all of her home support workers, social workers and nurses from Winnipeg Regional Health and the staff of the Palliative Care ward at Riverview Health Centre. We are particularly grateful to the wonderful staff of Jocelyn House Hospice who took such good care of our mom during her final weeks of life. Out of respect for Jo's wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jocelyn House Hospice in Georgina's memory. Condolences to Arnold And family and grandchildren. We were very sorry to hear that Georgina has passed away. She will be missed by many especially by her family and grandchildren. It sounds she was very devoted and loved spending time with her family and that it made her very happy. I have some early memories in our younger years of Georgina and Lucy visiting our family on the farm is Skylake. They were our city cousins and we enjoyed their visits and spending Sundays with them and their parents. She always had a big smile for everyone when we saw each other in later years when we met at different occasions. Your family is in our thoughts and we will always miss her. Cherish all the precious memories you have .She was a special lady loved and forever remembered .
