MARIA KAMMERLOCH 1925 - 2017 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Maria Kammerloch at the age of 91, who returned to her heavenly home on April 24, 2017. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her son Eugen (Emma), her daughter Nina (Nikolai); her grandchildren Igor (Oksana), Natasha (Mark), Angelika (Nick), Victoria (Chris), Erik (Melania); her great-grandchildren Ethan, Shawn, Annabella, Ronan, Jacqueline, Allyson and Rurik; and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Emil in 1996; her brother Vasily, her brother Vladimir and her sister Anna of Russia. Maria loved to travel, visiting family in Russia and Germany many times. She enjoyed cross-stitching and knitting and created many crafts well into her later years. Maria was strong and independent, and was the epitome of health. Maria's proudest achievements were her two children and seeing her grandkids and great-grandkids grow up. Her love and support of them never wavered from the day they were born until the day she passed away. They all loved her very much and will miss her a great deal. Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment will follow. "It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home." Special thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness in Maria's final weeks. I am very sorry to hear of Maria's passing. She was a good friend to my parents, particularly my Mom in her later years. They shared many good times. Maria was a very kind and friendly lady always happy and smiling whenever I saw her. Eugen and Emma, my most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to you and your family.
