HENRIETTE BENJAMIN (nee LUSSIER) July 27, 1922 - April 23, 2017 It is with great sadness, the family of Henriette Benjamin announces her passing in the comfort of her home on Sunday April 23, 2017 with family by her side, at the age of 94. Henriette was born in Mariapolis, Manitoba. She was the beloved wife of Clement Benjamin who passed away from cancer at the age of 75 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by all four children, Raymond, Alice, Arthur (Kerri), Paul (Rita); her grandchildren, Lisa (Blake), Danette (Yvonne), Michel, Laurent (Tarryn), Chantal, Gaetan (Chelsea), Ryan (Kasia), Jaclyn (Darek); her great-grandchildren, Brenna (Lee), Brady (Nikki), Lauryn, Braeden, Joshua, Isaiah, Gabrielle, Gavin, Kuba. She also leaves to mourn her two brothers, Albert, André (Rosemarie); three sisters-in-law, Marie-Jeanne Prenevault, Juliette Bernier, Gemma Lussier, two brothers-in-law, Henri Benjamin (Rita) and Bruce Jeffrey. She was predeceased by her parents and numerous family members. Henriette enjoyed knitting, crocheting, the outdoors, gardening, feeding the birds. She loved cooking for her large family gatherings. Henriette and Clement enjoyed going to their cottage and fishing in the summer and going to Jamaica in the winter. Her love for God was very deep. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Char and Brenda for their care and compassion shown to Henriette. Without these two wonderful ladies, Henriette's final wish of being in the comfort of her own home would not have been possible. Mother, grandma, and great-grandma, maman, mémère and grand-grandmère, there is a special place in our hearts reserved just for you. For those who wish, please donate to a charity of your choice. Repose en paix! Rest in peace! Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29 at the St. Norbert Church, 80 St. Pierre Street with Father Lalonde officiating.
