CHANTAL LYNNE HUZIL Peacefully, with her mother at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Chantal Lynne Huzil on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Riverview Heath Centre, at the age of 41 years. Left to survive Chantal are her mother Carol Huzil, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Paul Huzil. Chantal was a smart, loving, caring person, who always put others before herself. Working in Child Care for 18 years, she cared for many children at Panda and Rainbow Day Care. Chantal loved working with her co-workers, all the children she cared for, and they loved their BOB. She had lots of friends that cared and loved her deeply, as she touched the hearts of many. Chantal will be greatly missed by all who knew her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street, Winnipeg. A special thank you to Riverview Health Centre and all their wonderful staff members; the Never Alone Foundation for all their support; the St. Boniface Hospital, and all her friends and family for being there for Chantal. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be preferred. • As many,we are so sadden to hear of the loss of Bob.The kids have not been at Rainbow for a couple years but she has always been a favourite. There are so many reasons.... the great big hugs in the morning, corney jokes that made the kids giggle and laugh, playing loud tunes on the bus ride to and from school(way cool), super awesome afterschool snacks or plainly how she made every kid feel acknowledge and special. Bob truly had a gift that she freely shared and I know our kids were the better for it. Hopefully her family can take comfort in the fact that Chantel has been admired , appreciated and loved by so many families. She has truely left a mark on ours.
