WILLIAM (BILL) WALTER FINDLAY Peacefully, on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the age of 68 years, Bill passed away at Vista Park Lodge. Left to mourn Bill's passing are his sister Gayle (Bill); two nieces, Debbie and Michelle and three nephews, Randy, Jeff and Ryan and their families. He was predeceased by his father Frank in 1972 and his mother Doreen in 1984. Bill was born in Shoal Lake, MB on October 18, 1948 and moved to Winnipeg with his family at the age of eight. He was born deaf and had Cerebral Palsy, but despite his many handicaps, he still enjoyed watching sports and taking part in any activities he was capable of. Bill attended a workshop at Versatech Industries and was proud to receive a plaque for 25 years of service. He resided at Deaf Centre Manitoba from 1973 until 1986 before moving into a group home, where Bill resided until moving to Vista Park Lodge in 2013.
