GLADYS PEGGY SPILLETT 1922 - 2017 Gladys Spillett passed away peacefully on April 24, 2017 at the age of 94. Glady was born on June 13, 1922. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack in 1997, and son Gary in 2004. She is survived by her sons Wayne (Sherie) and John (Bernie), daughter-in-law Wendy, grandchildren Ryan (Danielle), Kevin (Andrea), Tammy (Blake), Chris (Anna), Dan, and Joe, and great-grandchildren Ava, Lucy, Sophie, Alexis, Danielle, Ella, Aiden and Dominic. Gladys was a longtime resident of Charleswood. She was a faithful member of Charleswood United Church and a devoted member of the Rebekah's. Glady worked for Eaton's for many years where she enjoyed many lifelong friends. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. We want to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre for the care and compassion they showed Glady. There will be a service honouring her life at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. at 11:00 a.m. on May 6, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charleswood United Church, Rebekah Memorial Eye Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
