Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLEN ROBERT YOUNG 1928 - 2017 It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Allen Robert Young on April 24, 2017 in the Palliative Care Ward at St. Boniface Hospital. Allen will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doreen; children Linda Scott and Larry Young; grandchildren Todd (Susan) Suggitt, Erin Scott, and Trevor Young; and great-grandchildren Tyson and Sam Eilers-Suggitt. He was a loving husband and father, devoted grandpa and very proud great-grandpa. A celebration of his life will take place Monday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, with reception to follow. The family wish to thank the staff of CancerCare Manitoba and the staff of Palliative Care at St. Boniface Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Endowment Fund through the St. Boniface Hospital Endowment Fund, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
