Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS LLOYD OLAFSON 1959 - 2017 It is with sadness we announce the passing of Dennis on April 19, 2017. Beloved youngest son of Karl and Wilhelmina. Survived by his brothers, Karl (Lee ann) of Winnipeg and Wayne (Carol) of Wynne, BC; nieces and nephews; Shannon (James), Scott (Allison), Corrie (Danny), Jesse and Darius; grandnieces, Ava and Rowen Balas, Kenzie and Parker Olafson. A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Dennis spent his career working for MLCC spanning 30 plus years. He will be missed by co-workers, friends and family. He enjoyed fishing and camping, and was an avid dog lover. To be interred at a later date with his loving parents. Rest with peace baby brother. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 204-885-9715

I am very sad to hear of Dennis's passing. I have many good memories of times shared with Dennis and our fraternity brothers during our University years both in Winnipeg and while travelling in the States. He had a unique sense of humour and always a smile on his face. He was a terrible poker player. I will never forget two particularly funny T-shirts he often wore.
