JEAN ELIZABETH GOURLAY We are deeply saddened to announce, that with her loving family by her side, Jean passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at the age of 90, on April 29, 2017. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 1995. She was the loving mother of Janet (Henry), Jim, Jack (Laura) and Jo-Anne (Neil). Proud grandma of Jennifer, Jim, Duncan and Kelli, great-grandma to her little girls, Rielle, Lyla, and Katelyn. Sister-in-law to Mary, Helen and William, aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Jean will be sadly missed by her many friends at 895 Wilkes Avenue and the Reh-Fit on Taylor Avenue. • I was saddened to read of the passing of Jean. Although we had not spoke for a while I will always remember and cherish the many laughs and sometimes serious discussions we had at A & W. Fly with the angels! - Posted by: RoJean Anstett (Friend) on: May 06, 2017

  • So sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Jean and pass on condolences to all the family from Chris and myself. She was a wonderful lady. We were so grateful that she accompanied our near blind mother on an Alaskan cruise several years ago. Our mother thoroughly enjoyed an experience that would not have been possible without the generosity and patience of Aunt Jean. They remained good friends. - Posted by: Les Yates (Nephew) on: May 05, 2017
