Kornelson, 96, of Steinbach, MB, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. He is survived by three daughters, three sons, one sister and their families. John was predeceased by his first wife Agnes (nee Nikkel), his second wife Eva (nee Unger), one great-grandson, two brothers and four sisters. The viewing will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W., Steinbach, MB. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Steinbach Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, Steinbach, with the interment at Heritage Cemetery. Viewing will be prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haven Group Foundation, Steinbach, MB. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030
