I met Doug at the West Kildonan curling club when I was a young kid. Some of my great curling memories were curling against him and Mr. Paley with my family in our men's league. Doug also played a few games on our team this season, helping us out when we needed a player. Doug was a fantastic person who was always looking at things positively. From myself and Grant (father) we send our deepest condolences on your loss. - Posted by: Kyle Doering and Grant Doering (Curling ) on: Jun 15, 2017

I have great memories of a motorcycle trip we took from Winnipeg to Denver and back through the Midwest in the mid eighties. Greg was a colleague and fellow instructor with a bunch of us with the Manitoba Safety Council and taught many people how to ride. He was a great guy and I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to all of you. - Posted by: Bob Jackson (Friend) on: May 20, 2017

Diane and family ... I am shocked and saddened to hear the news, my heart is sad for you all. I knew you and Doug through archery in the 80s at Silver Arrow. Doug was always lots of fun and ready to share a laugh. One could always count on the mustache wiggle and a smile. Good memories of league nights. My sincerest condolences and sympathy to you. - Posted by: Leslie Hardy (Silver Arrow Archery Lanes ) on: May 13, 2017
