Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLEN WEDGE (nee SAUERBREI) It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend on April 30, 2017. She passed away peacefully at the Charleswood Care Centre. Ellen was born June 27, 1939 in Winnipeg to John & Kathleen Sauerbrei. As a child Ellen lived in several different locations settling in Rosser with Ken where she raised their children until moving to Winnipeg in 1995. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shawn (Heather), Kerri and Kelli; grandchildren, Gord (Tara), Bryan (Alicia) and Corbin (Sabrina); as well as brothers and sisters, Ken, Kathleen, Jack, Kyle (Cathy), Cheryl, Cyndee (Ron) and many nieces and nephews. We would like to take this time to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre for their wonderful support and care of Mom. She loved and appreciated everyone of you. Thank You. A cremation has taken place and as per Ellen's wishes there will be no funeral service. www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715.

She was a wonderful Older sister. I could write for days about how she helped we younger brothers and sisters when we were young. That was followed by her mentorship to us as adults.
