MATTHYS (MATT) LOCH March 12, 1936 - May 5, 2017 On Friday, May 5, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, Matt Loch passed away peacefully at home, with family at his side, at the age of 81 years. He will be remembered for his overwhelming passion for vehicles and horses which he expressed in his everyday demeanor and shared throughout his life with family and friends. Matt was much loved and will be sadly missed by daughter, Yoka (Sara Johanna) and Ton Harzing and children Nicholas (daughter Hannah, fiancé Corley- Keeva and Kainen), Matthew, Richard and Michael; son Bert and Lori Loch and children Tim (fiancé Amanda and daughter Emma), Justin (Leah), Christopher (son Austin), Alexander, Carly (Richard and daughters Natalie and Amelia), Trevor; daughter Ineke and Ken Unrau and children, Kristen, Tracey (Robert), Mitchell (Kira). He also leaves behind his sister Ina Loch and partner Wilma Meijer; brother Johan and Joke Loch from the Netherlands. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses that helped care for Matt. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a celebration of life to follow. DAD............you truly missed. Natalie (great grand daughter) asks where great Opa is all the time. We tell her you are her Angel now and will watch over us. There is not a day that goes by that you name is not mentioned. All of hearts are broken. We miss the family dinners that you had her with us, And nobody is aloud to sit in chair except Natalie. What a great loss to this world,, I know how much he was loved by all that met him and loved him. His love of family and pride in them will be missed as well as his love for horses.
