Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRIETTE FEDAK March 10, 1925 - May 7, 2017 With deepest sadness, we announce that Henriette (Rousseau) Fedak passed away on May 7, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband John; sons, Brian (Debbie) Fedak, Gordon (Shirley) Fedack; grandson Johnathon (Pamela) Fedack and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Georgia, Allison and Savanah. Henriette is survived by siblings, Faye, Lorraine, Roy, Ernie, and Doreen. She was predeceased by her brother Fern. Henriette was born in St. Boniface. After the passing of her father at an early age, she helped raise her siblings by going to work. Mom later worked at Canada Packers where she met her husband John and they later married in the St. Boniface Cathedral. Mom and Dad started their family in St Boniface and later moved to Bank Avenue where they lived for sixty-three years. Henriette had a serious love for walking. She would walk from their home on Bank Avenue to Eaton's downtown where she worked for over ten years. Her travels included Rome, Austria, and many road trips across the U.S. and Canada. Mom was very involved with the Eaton's Senior's Club. She was a member of Christ The King Church from inception and an active member of The Catholic Women's League. She continued to support the church until the time of her passing. On May 25, 2017 Henriette and John would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. The family would like to thank the staff of the Golden Links Lodge for their professional and personal care given to mom. For those who wish, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A Mass will be held at Christ The King Church, 847 St. Mary's Rd., on Wednesday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. Desjardins 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca
