MARIE FIELD (nee FLETCHER) August 16, 1926 - May 11, 2017 Marie lived for her family. She was committed to building a close-knit loving family, ensuring that they had everything they could possibly want. She was successful in both endeavours. She was generous, compassionate, and kind and she passed those qualities on to those she loved. She was at her happiest when surrounded by the chaos of the dogs, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She found joy in being surrounded by her loved ones, even though at times she could only hear half of their conversations. She is predeceased by the love of her life, Bob, with whom she built a summer home that became the hub of family life. Left to remember her are daughters Jacquie (Brad), and Patti (Greg); grandchildren Matt Rayner, Darryl Conrad (Kira), Grant Rayner (Kristyn), and Dana Conrad (Gordon); great-grandchildren Ayelin, Hunter and Hannah; brother Doug Fletcher (Betty) and family Sandra and Mark. The impact that Marie had on the world will be felt in subtle ways, through the love that she spread and those she cherished. Whether one called her mom, grandma Marie, GG or friend, she will always be a special part of our lives. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 204-925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I wish to send my most sincere condolences to both Jacquie and to Patti on the occasion of your mother's passing away. Over the years we have known each other, I could see the positive influence your mom had on both of you,. Your caring for vulnerable school kids and your diligence in bettering your own education is noteworthy. I was saddened to hear of your loss. Your mom has left two outstanding women to care for others in the world. - Posted by: Sheilah Land (friend) on: May 25, 2017
