No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord. My deepest condolences to your family. - Posted by: Lawrence Chuback (High School ) on: Jun 25, 2017

It was terribly surprising and shocking to see that Daren had passed. It's been a long time since going to school back at Beaumont Elementary but I can safely say I remember him well and did meet in passing a few times in later years. It didn't surprise me that his personality was as pleasant as ever whenever we bumped into each other. When it came to being likeable Daren was above average. Always a smile on his face and fully capable of a friendly chat. Like Donny & Jan, (living overseas) I myself have lived in Australia since 1986 but fondly remember my days back in Charleswood. I extend my condolences to all who knew and loved Daren. He won't be forgotten by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. - Posted by: Howard Craig (Old pal. ) on: May 24, 2017

We are sending our deepest condolences to Daren's family, his son Quinn and his many family and friends. Don and I are so truly sorry and we are sending you much love and hugs from New Zealand. We truly wish we could be there to support you and please know that we are there in spirit for you during this very hard time in your lives. Don and Daren were "gear heads" in HS and Don was his best man in the mid eighties. There were many long nights working on their Barracudas, or just shooting the s*^t :), their friendship was rekindled through Facebook and Don was really pleased about that - again we send our love and condolences, to everyone. Sincerely Don and Jan Kolisnyk and family. - Posted by: Jan and Don Kolisnyk (Daren's Best Man and friends) on: May 24, 2017
