CORINNE ELIZABETH KLEMM (nee LOBOZ) With her family by her side, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Corinne passed away peacefully on May 22, 2017, aged 85, at St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dan; their children, Carole (Doug), Jocelyn (Ric), Eric, and Valerie (Andras); their grandchildren, India, Liam, Andy and Max; her brother Victor (Agnes) and nephews, Conrad and Jason (Michelle), Brandon and Jordan. Corinne was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Caroline Loboz. Corinne was born in Winnipeg in 1932, and grew up on Bannerman, attending Faraday, then Isaac Newton schools. A talented artist with pencil, pastels, oils, and sculpture, Corinne also acted in live theatre and voiced CBC radio dramas. In 1957, Corinne met Dan at a YMCA social dance. They married in 1958, raised their four children in Wildwood Park and later, in River Heights. A devoted and proud mother and grandmother, she crisscrossed Canada often to visit her family. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). • Thinking of you all today, With Love, Sue and Dwight - Posted by: Sue and Dwight (Family) on: May 28, 2017

  • On behalf of the Khan family I wish to express our sorrow on the passing of Corrine Klemm. Our families were very close, growing up together in River Heights and the kids attending the same schools. I remember shooting baskets at the Klemm’s basketball hoop behind the garage, walking to school regularly with Eric, hanging out at the house, playing with King the dog and, through it all, Mr. And Mrs. Klemm being very kind, welcoming and loving people. They often had me over for meals and the kitchen was always a flurry of baking, cooking and canning. Mrs. Klemm was a loving, caring person and was a great neighbor and friend to my parents (Sid and Laura) and our whole family. Mrs. Klemm will be missed and our sincere condolences go out to the wonderful Klemm family (Dan, Carole, Jocelyn, Eric and Valerie) and the extended family. From Ramon Khan on behalf of Laura, Fiesal, Ramon and Dean. - Posted by: Ramon Khan (Family friend and former neighbor) on: May 26, 2017
