Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND W. HAY February 19, 1922 - May 22, 2017 On Monday, May 22, as he wished, Uncle Ray went on to meet "My Girl" Yvette. He was predeceased by his wife Yvette on May 16, 2016; parents Susan and Joseph Hay; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Dennis Berkley-Cole; sister Marian Dryden; brothers Joseph (Dovey) and Hubert Hay; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Eva and Hank Perron; nephew Robert Perron; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Les and Marie Lafrance. He is survived by brother-in-law Ken Dryden; sister-in-law Simonne Labaty; and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, Britain, Scotland and the United States. He will be missed for his gentleness and keen sense of humour right up to the end. As per Uncle Ray's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Our sincere appreciation to the staff on Cornish Two of the Misericordia Interim Care; you are truly angels on earth. Donations may be made to Uncle Ray's favourite charity, Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3. Using Uncle Ray's words "Everything is now Hunky Dooley." My condolences. Ray was a distant cousin. My Grandmother was Nellie Davidson (Hay). As I recall Joseph was her brother . My memories are all quite old going back to the 50's and 60's but I recall Ray as always the gentleman.
