GERMAIN (nee ADAMS) 1933 - 2017 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on May 20, 2017 after a long and sometimes very painful illness. Mom was the heart and soul of our family. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Eugene, daughter Sandy, son Glen, brother William and sister Shirley, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members. At mom's request cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. I am sorry for the loss of your wife and mother. I was a co-worker of Laurie's in the Winnipeg School Div. Although I have long ago lost touch with Laurie I do remember her as very friendly and always willing to help, very focussed on her job and doing her best for the children.
