ANGEL REGINO GONZALES RAMOS It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Angel Regino Gonzales Ramos. He was predeceased by his wife Corazon and children, Geoffrey, Arthos, Porthos, and Artemis. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Regina (Silvestre Urbano), Jennifer, Carla, and Jerome; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Sian, Nason, Stefan, Breanna, Tynan and Cyrus; his sister Elsa (Rudolfo Enriquez) and sister-in-law Erlinda Ramos; and his numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. Special thanks to S. Teteng Ramos, D. Joevic Ramos, D. Dorothy Gil, D. Angie Villaneuva, A. Marilou Ramos, S. Tony Ramos, Manding and D. Lalaine Ylaya for making sure Papa had a home wherever he travelled. Papa enjoyed taking calculated risks - his biggest gamble - to take his young family and immigrate to Canada in 1973. He would always say "I'm Filipino and proud, Canadian and grateful." Lamay will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Prayer service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Edward The Confessor Church, 836 Arlington Street, Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment and reception to follow at Chapel Lawn.
