Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNE R. ANDERSON We sadly announce the passing of the most loving, caring, compassionate family man, Lorne R. Anderson, 66, peacefully and with family by his side, on May 23, 2017. Remaining to cherish his memory and honour his life are his wife Sandra of 37 years; his children, Terry, Jeremy (Brandy), Gary (Carmen), Alana (Ric), and Melissa; grandchildren, Kirsten, Mackenzie, Joelle, Tyler, Brycen, Emma, Owen, and Carter; father Wallace; siblings, Brenda (Warren), Dale (Rae), Cindy (Charlie), Diana (Norm), Dana (Cheryl) and Donald (Tammy); mother-in-law Doris; in-laws, Lorraine (Alfie), Karen (Dave), Grant (Liz) and Brian (Kim); numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by mother May and father-in-law Gordon. Lorne was extremely passionate about life and spent as much time with his family as possible. He was a dedicated and hardworking man that enjoyed working for Paul's Hauling Ltd. for the last 31 years and from that, he created many memories and lifelong friends. He loved camping, fishing, and traveling. His kind, carefree personality made him easily liked by all and his positive attitude, determination and optimism was infectious and never waned. Lorne will be greatly missed. We would like to extend extreme gratitude to all the surgical ward nurses and doctors at Portage District General Hospital for their loving care and support through this difficult time. At Lorne's request, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Ive only met Lorne a few times..seemed like a genuinely very nice guy...hes with his mom now..and prob dancing up a storm Now Lorne...do all the wonderful things u have wanted to do but couldnt do...you are now in paradise You have a large family and most likely many friends who love you..see you soon...luv Tracey..Darren DeVisser...children...joel schillaci..kyle. I'd like to say the Anderson family has been a part of my life for a very long time and I have nothing but love for you you all. I've been to many Christmas's and birthdays and family gatherings and was treated as one of their own. You gave it the hard fight Lorne and now you deserve your rest. You are now among your loved ones that have gone before you. "You laid there in that hospital bed, you tried so hard to hold on. God was calling you home. He needed another angel to help pour out the rain. Tears have fallen, hearts where shattered, but it was time for you to fly home.
