I will miss Bill. He always had a smile and a welcome for everyone. I will miss him at cribbage as he was hard one to win against. Lois and I will miss him at our many dinners. Lois and Bill Babiuk. . - Posted by: William Babiuk (friend) on: Jun 17, 2017

Stories were an integral part of any visit from Uncle Bill. We would sit around the table after dinner and he and dad would entertain us with their shenanigans. Whether growing up on the farm or batching together with our dad in Greencourt, those stories formed an indelible imprint on me. My three sons and scores of students I've taught over the last 40 years found those stories about the farm fascinating and retelling them became their favourite time of the day. Uncle Bill lived like one should: be kind to all, laugh like there's no tomorrow, tell stories, treat everyone (whether big or small) with dignity and love deeply. It is with great sadness I put these words to page knowing that the hole we feel is nothing like the one his family feels right now. Uncle Bill lived a life that will be remembered. I can't thank you enough Uncle Bill for the gift of story telling that you gave me. I will ensure that it is passed on to the next generation ❤️ - Posted by: Dale Taylor (Nephew) on: Jun 12, 2017
