EDOUARD (ED) MONDOR It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ed, after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife and partner Helene (Palehitski); his daughter Sharon (Phil Hogue); his son Philip (Patti Bart); grandchildren, Mario (Stephanie) Denis, Lynn (Brad) Maxwell, Louise Denis, and Elias Mondor; and great-grandchildren, Patrick Denis, Anthony Denis and Aria Maxwell. He is also survived by his sisters, Doris Hogue, Anita Vandale, and Adeline (Larry) Allarie; brother-in-law Hector Palehitski; sister-in-law Wilma (Late Willie) Palehitski; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Notre-Dame-de-la-Misericorde Parish, Ile-des-Chênes, MB with Father Chartier officiating. A eulogy tribute will take place prior to the service at 12:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place and interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. A special thank you to CancerCare doctors, St. Pierre Hospital nurses, health care workers, and Dr. Mahmood and Dr. Reimers.
