JOYCE JOHNSON (nee YETMAN) On Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre, with her loving husband of 59 years at her side, Joyce passed peacefully and will suffer no more. Joyce is survived by her husband Leonard, and children: Donna, Wendy (Roman) and Doug (Tammy). There are eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren which she called her Rose Garden. Also two sisters, six brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, too many to name. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, in Teulon. In lieu of flowers, Joyce's wish was for donations to be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society. The family would like to extend our deepest thanks to all the medical professionals on 3B, 4H and 7B wards of the Health Sciences Centre, who provided Joyce with extraordinaire care in her final days. We would also like to thank all the friends, neighbours and family who have been so supportive through these trying times. Ken Loehmer Funeral Services, 204-886-0404

Mrs. Johnson was a great second mother to all us kids who grew up on Tamarac Bay. A great woman has left us, but will never be forgotten. Condolences to Mr. Johnson and the rest of the Johnson family. - Posted by: richard Schade (Neighbor ) on: Jun 23, 2017
