Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE ROBERTA TASHIRO Bernice Tashiro, beloved wife of the late Yoshikazu Tashiro, passed away June 27, 2017 at the Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, at the age of 86 years. Bernice is predeceased by her husband Yosh; parents; daughter Trish MacDonald and sister Beatrice (George) Ferguson. Bernice is survived by her son Rob (Karen); grandchildren, Ryan (Lindsay), Midori, Cody and Kimberley; great- grandchildren, Patrick, Victoria and Grace; as well as niece Gwen (Darrel). Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba with Rev. John Zondag officiating. A private family interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 17 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1T8. The family would like to express their many thanks to the staff of the Lion's Prairie Manor, Parkside Ward, for the care and support while Bernice was in their care. We were all sad to learn of the loss of a great Canadian, Manitoban and Portager. A fantastic friend, mother and grandmother.
