ALEX KITH It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alex Kith on June 20, 2017. Alex was predeceased by his beloved wife, Steffie in 1999. He is survived by his daughters, Judy (Larry) and Debbie (Glenn), grandchildren, Corey, Scott (Meagan), Evan (Keisha) and Trevor (Jill), and great-granddaughter, Sophia, as well as extended family, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alex worked at the Canadian National Railway until his retirement on June 26, 1992. During his retirement, he enjoyed fishing and working around the yard at home with Steffie, until her demise. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, and enjoyed spending time with them and also his furry friend, Dusty. For the latter part of his years, Alex resided in independent living at Kin Place in OakBank where he enjoyed getting together with the residents in the common room for daily meals. A special thank you to Carol Frailick and the homecare staff at Kin Place for taking such good care of our dad. Thanks also to Dr. Kress and staff in the Emergency Department at Concordia Hospital and N1 South for the compassion and care given to Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dad's name to the Immaculate Conception Church in Cooks Creek or the Winnipeg Humane Society. A private funeral has already taken place at Immaculate Conception Church in Cooks Creek. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT seasonsfunerals.ca

We have such beautiful memories of "Uncle" Alex and "Auntie" Steffie. Going out to the house for "sleepovers with Deb and Judy and waking up in the morning to the smell of Auntie Steffie's delicious pancakes, playing with the pets, potatoes, mouse, goose the cat, pokey who they took in for us and sort of playing with Petunia the pig, and of course Ernie and Brandy. On Saturday nite we would want to watch a movie but there was no way because Uncle Alex would be watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens. Going to the farm holds some of the best memories of our childhood. Even though we lost touch as the years went by we loved you then and will always love you Uncle Alex and Auntie Steffie too, you and your family gave us some of the best memories of our youth and our parents, Esther and Ted loved you too and you will never be forgotten. Our deepest sympathies go to Judy & Larry and Scott and Corey and families and Debbie and Glen and Evan and Trevor and families. With sympathy and love from: Lori and Mark - Posted by: Lori and Mark King (Friends ) on: Jul 02, 2017
