ROBERT (BOB) ORTON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, husband, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend and neighbour. Bob lost the battle with cancer and spherocytosis on June 19, 2017. He is no longer suffering. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for helping him rest comfortably in his final days. There will be a Celebration of Life for Bob on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at his favourite club, ANAVETS (Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans), Unit 283, 3584 Portage Avenue. You may wish to stay for the Club's meat draw at 3:00 p.m. There will be a private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bob's name to CancerCare Manitoba.
