ELVIRA BIGORNIA LATIGAR 1957 - 2017 With heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Elvira Latigar at her residence, with family by her side, on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the age of 59 years. She is predeceased by her parents, Juanito and Amparo Bigornia and sisters, Julita and Isadora Bigornia, Blessilla Vida, also by her niece Pamela Mae Fajardo. She will be lovingly remembered by husband Julio, brother Nestor (Esther), sister Helen (Roy) Fajardo, stepdaughters, Jen and Jacq, stepson Mark (Hazel) Latigar, nephews, Armand (Michelle), Eric Bigornia, Ryan (Anne) Vida, Rhys Fajardo, and nieces, Reanne (Jerald) Cabio and Ritchel Domingo. Also grandchildren, Dave, Clyde, Gianna, Vivienne, Bea, Danea, Stephanie, Dwayne, Pochee, Kean, Mischka, Alaina, Julian and Hailey. Lamay/viewing will be held 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, with prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Edward the Confessor Parish, 818 Arlington Street with interment and reception to follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Thank you to all those who provided prayers and came to visit the hospital to show their support, the staff at Myrna's Café and to the hospital staff on GH4 at Health Sciences Centre for all the care shown to Elvira.
